SHOWCASE of CENTAUR SCHOLARSHIP

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is known internationally for its research on centaurs. The Jack E. Reese Galleria in the Hodges Library includes one of the finest adult male Centaurian specimens yet discovered and the library includes the most extensive collections of Centaurian epic literature in the south-eastern United States.

Annual panel sessions are conducted as University Studies Centripetals. Our panel presents brief papers introducing some of the latest Centaurian research by UTK faculty and associates. Question/answer periods follow the presentations. titles in blue are linked to web presentations.

Moderator: Marian Moffet (College of Architecture and Design, Office of the Provost): introduction (Moffett asserts that Centaur Studies should be funded as one of the University's new interdisciplinary focus areas. Prof Moffet will present a drawing of the proposed new bridge linking the east and west campuses, with sculptures of Centaurs at each end.)
