CONTRIBUTING TO UNIVERSITY STUDIES

although there are many names,
the arts are not separated;
and one kind of knowledge
is not severed from another
--Paracelsus--
FRIENDS OF UNIVERSITY STUDIES - You can support OUR COMMUNITY of interdisciplinarity scholars and disciplinary bridge-builders with a contribution to the UNIVERSITY STUDIES PROGRAM. Gifts may be made in honor of a mentor, colleague, family member, or idea. All gifts will be acknowledged on the Web and in UT's student newspaper, The Beacon, as well as released to the media.

For donations of $1,000 or more (payable over three years if preferred), the names of donors and honorees will be etched into paving stones.

Individuals interested in making a gift to UNIVERSITY STUDIES should contact: the University Studies Program (unistudy@utk.edu - (865) 974-8177), or the University of Tennessee Office of Development, attention Linda Davidson, Associate Vice President of Development (ldavidson@utk.edu - (865) 974-2115)

For information about specific projects planned or in progress please contact the Program Chair.

UNIVERSITY STUDIES depends on the generosity of its alumni and friends to serve its vision and mission and to help our faculty and students respond to the rapidly emerging needs of the world around us. You can provide financial support for the UNIVERSITY STUDIES through many means. External resources include gifts of cash, securities and other appreciated assets (i.e., property, hardware, software and other equipment) designated by the donors for specific areas of interest. Unspecified gifts would provide for operations, fellowships, programs and research activities of Colloquies, facilities and equipment. Some benefactors may choose to support the Program through estate gifts such as bequests or trust agreements coordinated with university representatives. Program donors might include alumni, corporations, foundations and other friends of the University. For more specific information, please contact the Program Chair or the Office of Development.
