University Studies Executive Committee, as required by the by-laws, consists of the five most recent recipients of the University Studies Annual Award for Contributions to Interdisciplinary Scholarship and is a voting body to advise and guide the Chair of the Program

The US Steering Committee counsels and advises the Executive Committee on matters relating to planning, organizing and administering programs; provides an independent review of the program with special emphasis on effectiveness and program quality; recommends sources of gift and research funds from private, foundation and corporate sources; and identifies specific needs of the University community as well as the private sector.
